Thank You

Thank you for your time and your voice.

JHA appreciates the time you have taken to complete this survey and assist in our understanding of what is happening on the ground in prisons throughout Illinois. Throughout the commissary shortage, the insight and details shared with JHA from people most impacted have equipped us to raise concerns, ask important questions, and advocate for necessary improvements. Details about the current status of commissary and state-issued items and individual prisons are critical to these ongoing efforts. The information shared in this online survey will allow us to further assess the situation and advocate for IDOC’s immediate procurement of needed items to alleviate the deprivation people are experiencing.

Your partnership is important every day, and even more critical today as we work together to improve the situation for people in Illinois prisons around commissary disruptions and other supply issues.  You can report information or concerns to JHA using the Contact Us form on the JHA website at any time.

You can also raise concerns directly to the Illinois Department of Corrections by utilizing the Contact IDOC function via their online form. You can also call Natalie Mason, Family Liaison in the IDOC Office of Constituent Services, at 217-558-2200 x6226 (8:30am-4:30pm, Monday – Friday) or email her at DOC.Constituent.Services@illinois.gov.  JHA is also interested in hearing about your experiences with this office.

Thank you again. We wish you good health and wellness, and hope you will stay in touch with us.
